Fantasy Crackas opened for business as a six-manager league, and it took the full 14 weeks to sort out. Nathaniel Bloss, Chris Strife, and Alex Drake all finished tied at 8-6, separated only by tiebreakers, while Dominic Libassi backed in at an even 7-7 — the only manager in league history to win a title without a winning regular-season record. Fittingly, Dominic's final points differential (-4.7) was the worst of anyone who made the playoffs.
Adam Sheifer's 5-9 finish was the founding season's low point, punctuated by a five-game losing streak. The playoffs ran two rounds, each spanning two weeks combined — and the championship itself produced the largest single margin in league history: Dominic Libassi's 361.16 combined score buried Alex Drake's 177.84 to close out the title.
It wasn't a dominant title run so much as a photo finish that Dominic Libassi happened to win twice — first in the semifinal against Nathaniel Bloss, then again in the final. Six managers walked away from year one with a permanent line in the record book: somebody had to be first, and it turned out to be him.
3rd place: Nathaniel Bloss def. Chris Strife, 302.02–208.36 (combined 2-week score).
With only 6 teams, seeds 5 and 6 simply played each other twice — Tommy Rock took both, locking in 5th and sending Adam Sheifer to the league's first-ever last-place finish.
